Senior Research Scientist

Responsibilities:

·         Research works and developments regarding the technology of thin film silicon solar cells

·         Development of a high rate thin film deposition technique for Si photovoltaic cells

·         Analysis of the interactions within the process chain und development of concepts for a cost efficient manufacturing of solar cells

·         Collaboration with internal and external partners

·         Planning and administration for work packages of the solar cell project

Requirements:

·         PhD degree or master in physics, chemistry, material science or semiconductor electronics

·         Research experience in at least one of the fields of thin film photovoltaics, solar cells, electronic thin film devices, thin film deposition or complex manufacturing processes for multi-layer components.

·         Experience in working in a clean room

·         Strong analytical skills

·         Ability to develop new concepts and plans for research works

·         Good communication, English speaking
