We offer two internship positions within Corporate Research (Renewable Energy Systems) in Singapore starting in July 2010 for the duration of six months.
Project:
Feasibility of renewable and clean energy technologies for highly localized energy usage in large buildings
Monitoring of photovoltaic system performances under tropical environment
Responsibilities:
Research work in the laboratory and in the field involving the monitoring, evaluation and setting up of renewable energy systems such as photovoltaic (PV) arrays for test bedding
Investigate new concepts or approaches for photovoltaic systems
Modeling and simulation of energy management for distributed renewable energy sources
Technical, and cost analysis of renewable energy systems and technologies
Literature survey of topics relating to renewable energy systems
Requirements:
Student from Bachelor/Master degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, building technology, power electronics, or semiconductor electronics
Practical experience in the laboratory
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently
Good communication skills
