We offer an internship within Management Support in Singapore starting August 2010 for the duration of six months.

In this internship, you will support the Project Manager of Robert Bosch Singapore with various projects and macro-economic research assignments. You will also support in coordinating our shared service functions, e.g. Human Resources, Finance and Controlling, Corporate Communications and Logistics, which will give you the experience of how a multinational company functions in Asia.

Your responsibilities:

• Research, update and report on the macroeconomic progress of the ASEAN countries
• Research, update and report on the Free Trade Agreements in ASEAN
• Support on general presentations and reports
• Support for the Project Manager during workshops and conferences
• Support for maintenance of the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) -Forum and CIP working material

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines
• Advanced knowledge in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Keen interest in economic development
• Able to work in a team as well as independently
• Good communication skills
• High interest in different cultures and working with them
• Prior working or internship experience, especially within Bosch is advantageous
