Responsibilities

Operating systems (AIX, Linux, Solaris) administration incl. virtualization (IBM VIO/LPAR, Solaris containers) and high availability technologies (IBM HACMP, VCS)

Server performance monitoring, tuning and capacity management

Server storage (AIX native and Veritas storage foundation) administration

Support of QM, IS, SM topics
Requirements:
-
In-depth knowledge of operating Unix servers in a large enterprise environment
-
Good understanding of IP and FC networks
-
Good understanding of Server security
-
Basic Database (Oracle) and Shell scripting
-
SAP basis, AS400 knowledge will be of advantage
-
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
-
Team-, target-oriented and able to work independently

Good communication skill, reliable and trustworthy
