Responsibilities:
- Measure and evaluate the impact of different renewable and clean energy technologies, including photovoltaic, wind, energy storage, and electric vehicles on decentralized energy generation and consumption
- Manage and supervise project work to evaluate the effectiveness of novel building technologies to develop capabilities for decentralized energy management
- Investigate different approaches for implementing control theories in energy management with a focus on supply and demand optimization
- Analyze experimental data for power quality issues and stability in direct current networks
- Prepare detailed documentation of system designs, technical report writing and presentations
- Organize collaboration with internal and external partners
Requirements:
- PhD degree in physics, electronic engineering, energy or building technology or systems engineering
- Experience in one of the following domains; power systems, analysis of complex ndustrial/commercial building electrical systems and utility systems operations
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary research oriented environment and capable of working with multiple external organizations to achieve targets
- Excellent communication, organizational and decision-making skills
