Responsibilities:
- System design, development and testing of building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules
- Development of advanced electrical and electronic controls for BIPV to achieve optimal performance
- Implement diagnostic systems for evaluating BIPV system performance
- BIPV system cost evaluation and identification of areas for cost reduction in BIPV module design
- Preparation of detailed documentation of system designs, technical report writing and presentations
- Organize collaboration with internal and external partners
Requirements:
- PhD degree in physics, electronic engineering, energy/building technology or systems engineering
- Experience in one of the following domains: photovoltaics, power systems, analysis of complex industrial/commercial building electrical systems and utility systems operations
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary research oriented environment
- Excellent communication, organizational and decision-making skills
- Ability to develop new concepts and plans for research works
