Responsibilities:

• System design, development and testing of building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules
• Development of advanced electrical and electronic controls for BIPV to achieve optimal performance
• Implement diagnostic systems for evaluating BIPV system performance
• BIPV system cost evaluation and identification of areas for cost reduction in BIPV module design
• Preparation of detailed documentation of system designs, technical report writing and presentations
• Organize collaboration with internal and external partners

Requirements:

• PhD degree in physics, electronic engineering, energy/building technology or systems engineering
• Experience in one of the following domains: photovoltaics, power systems, analysis of complex industrial/commercial building electrical systems and utility systems operations
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary research oriented environment
• Excellent communication, organizational and decision-making skills
• Ability to develop new concepts and plans for research works
