Responsibilities:
- Responsible for modeling and simulation in the field of “Decentralized Energy Management”
- Characterize the energy consumption of building equipment and systems to model the impact of novel building technologies on building energy performance
- Model and simulate the impact of different renewable and clean energy technologies, including photovoltaic, wind, energy storage, and electric vehicles on decentralized energy generation and consumption
- Develop custom building energy models to aid in the design of efficient distributed energy Sources and energy efficient building technologies
- Organize collaboration with internal and external partners
Requirements:
- PhD degree in physics, electronic engineering, energy or building technology or systems engineering
- Experience in one of the following domains; power systems, analysis of complex industrial/commercial building electrical systems and modeling and simulation
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary research oriented environment and capable of working with multiple external organizations to achieve targets
- Excellent communication, organizational and decision-making skills
