Bosch has been present in Singapore for over 30 years, since 1958. It is represented in Singapore by five companies - Robert Bosch (SEA) Pte Ltd, Bosch Security Systems Pte Ltd, Bosch Rexroth Pte Ltd, Bosch Packaging Technology Pte Ltd and BSH Home Appliances Pte Ltd, of which Bosch has a 50 per cent interest. 

Bosch is active in Southeast Asia in its three business sectors namely automotive technology, industrial technology, as well as consumer goods and building technology.

Robert Bosch (SEA)  is the headquarters for the region, with a branch office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and subsidiaries in the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, and with a representative office in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Automotive Technology The automotive aftermarket and Blaupunkt car multimedia sales divisions in Singapore are part of Bosch's Automotive Technology business. Automotive Technology is one of the biggest business divisions in the Bosch Group. In 2007, sales increased by 4.5 percent to 28.4 billion euros.

Consumer Goods and Building Technology Bosch Power Tools and Bosch Security Systems in Singapore form part of Bosch's key consumer goods and building technology business. Including consolidation effects, the Bosch Group enjoyed an increase in sales revenue by 6.5 percent to 11.7 billion euros in 2007.

Industrial Technology Bosch Rexroth and Bosch Packaging Technology in Singapore are part of the Bosch group's industrial technology business. The Industrial Technology business which also comprises metals technology and packaging technology generated sales totaling 6.0 billion euros in 2007, an increase in 9.4 percent.
